BLACK AND WHITE

Light emerges within the dark mass, not breaking it apart but moving through it from the inside. White swirling structures gather into a dense core where motion intensifies, then disperse into smaller particles scattered across the surface. The black field does not function as a background — it absorbs and sustains the light, deepening and destabilizing it.
The contrast remains fluid rather than sharp: boundaries between light and dark shift, dissolve, and merge. White does not overcome black; it appears within it as a temporary state, already in the process of changing.
Subtle vertical drips suggest direction, as if the entire structure is slowly settling. At the same time, turbulence persists within — movement does not stop, it redistributes.
The work holds a balance between emergence and absorption, where light does not assert itself fully but exists as a fleeting presence within a dense, opaque field.
