The green mass spreads here not as landscape and not as soft vegetation, but as a living, viscous environment in which the organic almost stops being consoling. Deep black voids, dark emerald and swamp-toned layers, yellowish flashes, and rare pink insertions gather the surface into a dense, breathing field. The eye is drawn into the dark cavities and then caught by pale nervous ruptures, as if the image were simultaneously spreading outward and holding a hidden structure within itself. Everything operates according to the logic of slow overgrowth, inner pressure, and a damp, almost bodily density.

The image is sustained by an unsettling convergence of the natural and the mental. Moss here reads not only as a form of life, but as a metaphor for thought, memory, and inner noise that covers, infiltrates, and fills the space of consciousness. The work therefore feels not like an abstract biomorphic surface, but like a state in which thought no longer moves freely, but becomes entangled, overgrown, and turned into an environment of its own. That is what makes the painting compelling: it does not illustrate consciousness, but allows it to be felt as living, dark, proliferating matter.
