Even in free societies where different points of view are represented, I perceive these viewpoints as closed informational spaces. Even the objects of the material world, which should be common to all discussions, are not, as they are presented from vastly different angles and with strong ideological distortions. As a result, it is virtually impossible to obtain a three-dimensional picture of the world from media and public discussion. One can only move from one "bubble" to another, or create one's own. I believe this has always been the case, but with the advent of social media and the ability to speak publicly to everyone, this phenomenon has become more visible.
