The space in this work is drawn into a vertical rhythm in which color no longer flows freely, but seems subjected to an inner law of pressure. Black, dark brown, rust-red, marsh, and cool green bands descend from top to bottom like traces of stretching, dripping, and slow compression. The white ruptures in the upper part keep the image from closing into mute heaviness: they act like cold flashes, openings, or cracks through which air enters this dense environment. At the same time, the rough texture along the edges intensifies the sense of resistance in the material — the surface is not smooth; it preserves the trace of effort, friction, and restraint.

For me, this work exists on the threshold between abstraction and the condition of a space undergoing inner change. The verticals can be read as drips, trunks, or cuts through space, but what matters more is that they create a feeling of discipline, slowing, and latent tension. Nothing erupts openly; everything works through accumulation. That is why the image is held not by effect, but by concentration: it draws the eye into a dense, dark system where color has already become a form of inner pressure.
