NEW BEGINNING
canvas, original technique, 60х60cm

A new beginning appears here not as a flash of hope, but as a slow, difficult reassembly of the surface after disintegration. A clear grid of rectangles establishes order, yet that order does not feel absolute: smooth fields of color — brick red, olive, turquoise, ochre, pale blue — stand beside areas where the layer seems to crumble, wear away, and retain traces of чужих texts, damage, and time. The eye moves constantly between these calm planes and the wounded fragments, and it is within that alternation that the central tension of the work emerges.
Beginning here cannot be separated from the memory of breakdown. Geometry does not conceal vulnerability; it holds it within structure, as if a new system were being built directly from the remains of an older one. That is why the work reads not as decorative abstraction, but as an image of recovery in which clarity arrives neither immediately nor completely. What matters to me is that stability is not given in advance: it is assembled from traces, pauses, losses — from an attempt to return form to something that has already passed through inner erosion. That is what makes the image restrained, yet convincing.
